No. employee-challenge works in the browser on any device. Participants open the invite link, join, and start tracking. No app store, no download, no friction. (A native app for wearable sync is on the roadmap.)
Fitness challenges (steps, running, workouts), charity challenges (movement converted to a donation equivalent), or fully custom challenges (reading, learning, sustainability — you define the rules).
You set a donation equivalent per activity unit (e.g., €1 per km). The platform tracks progress and displays the running total. At the end, you get a report with the final amount. The actual donation is handled by your company directly — we never touch money. Clean and simple.
All data is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany) on GDPR-compliant infrastructure. We offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and have designed the platform specifically for compatibility with European works councils.
